Christo Redentor - wip

Model created in 3D Studio Max and exported to the Gears of War // Unreal 3 engine.
This project was to help me learn the process of exporting models to the Unreal engine and
to learn its material and lighting systems. It has been a very fun project so far and is probably
only 60% done. I am using a singleplayer mode called 'Lance' documented here.


Still quite a bit of work left, but at least the ai paths are in so I can have a little fun while I 'test' my work.

This first shot shows how Gears 'mantling' is setup for ai. The other two are renders done in 3D Studio Max
I spent a lot of time working on a mod for Battlefield 2 and I couldn't let these models ONLY go into Unreal. Here are a couple of ingame (and in-editor) shots of the models. The sky shown in the last image was created and rendered in Vue.
